Grade 3 Class Taking Learning Beyond The Four Walls of The Classroom – February 2026

Yesterday the Grade 3 class took learning beyond the four walls of the classroom and into our school garden for a hands-on Science lesson all about plants. The girls carefully observed different parts of the plants: roots, stems, leaves and flower.
They then sketched detailed drawings of the plants they studied, making sure to label each part correctly. After their observations, the students researched the names of the plants and learned more about them, turning their drawings into simple Science reports.
It was wonderful to see their curiosity grow as they explored, asked questions, and discovered new things together. Learning through doing truly makes Science come alive!
