On Friday 12th December 2025, St Joseph Mater Boni Consilii School held the official inauguration ceremony of the school extension. After several years of preparations and intensive work, the extension to the present school was officially inaugurated. Dr. Kenneth Vella, Head of School, thanked all those people and entities who were behind this project and supported it since its inception. The project, which cost over €500, 000, was all funded by donations and the Sisters of the Congregation of St Joseph of the Apparition in Malta, supported by the Board of Governors. It includes the upgraded garden, the upgraded gym, the new Science lab, the multisensory room, offices and a resource room. Mr. Austin Walker, Chairperson of the Board of Governors, congratulated the school community for this project, while Sr. Denise Vassallo, Provincial Superior of the Sisters of St Joseph of the Apparition in Malta, thanked the school for providing various learning opportunities for the students. The extension was officially inaugurated by Sr. Denise and blessed by Fr. Leonard Mintoff, the school chaplain. Later, the guests and parents were invited to visit the extension. The ceremony was compered by Lara Bongailas and Kayleigh Camilleri, of Senior 2.
