Our lucky Senior 1 students have been able to use the new school science laboratory this term! With their teacher Ms Madeleine Agius Carbonaro and the help of Ms Antonella Cassar, they have been learning to use laboratory apparatus and how to light a Bunsen burner safely. The students conducted experiments focused on the fire triangle—understanding the essential elements of fire: heat, fuel, and oxygen—while also practising taking accurate measurements. It’s been an exciting hands-on experience that highlights the fundamentals of fire science and lab safety in our modern, well-equipped science lab!
