On Wednesday, 29th October 2025, the Senior 1 girls attended an informative and engaging session at the Benna Factory, as part of the Let’s Talk Farming programme. The girls participated in an interactive quiz about milk, its production process, and the various food products derived from it. The students also had the opportunity to taste a range of Benna products, including milk and yogurt. To conclude the visit, they took part in a creative activity where they designed their own milk-based product. Who knows, perhaps one day one of their ideas will make it to the market!
This educational visit will later be linked to classroom learning when the girls cover the topic of Milk during their Home Economics lessons, allowing them to connect theory with real-world experience.
The activity was coordinated and led by Ms Rachel Caruana Sladden, with the help of Ms Antonella Cassar.
